Toronto Sceptres’ forward Daryl Watts received recognition for her outstanding performance in December as she was selected to the PWHL’s starting six lineup on Friday. This accolade highlights the top three forwards, two defense players, and one goaltender based on their exceptional contributions in the preceding month.
Watts demonstrated her skill by registering at least one point in five out of seven games during December. Notably, her performance included scoring four goals, including a crucial game-winning goal in Toronto’s triumph over Montreal last weekend.
Alongside Watts, forwards Kendall Coyne Schofield and Britta Curl-Salemme from the Minnesota Frost were also commended for their performances. The defensive standouts recognized were Megan Keller and Haley Winn from the Boston Fleet, while Aerin Frankel, also from Boston Fleet, was acknowledged as the top goaltender of the month.
