In 2025, Theodore has once again secured the top position as the most favored baby name on Prince Edward Island. According to P.E.I.’s Vital Statistics, 12 newborns were named Theodore this year, reclaiming its leading status from the previous year. Theodore shared the top spot with Charlotte in 2024, but Charlotte has now slipped to seventh place.

Violet and John both garnered second place, with nine babies each, marking their debut on this year’s list. Notably absent from this year’s rankings are names like Evelyn, Nolan, Luke, Liam, Thomas, Ava, Claire, Leo, and Wyatt, which were strong contenders in the previous year.
