“Arrest Made in Corner Brook Shooting Case”

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary reported the arrest of Scott King, a 36-year-old individual, in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in a residence in Corner Brook on Monday. According to the RNC, officers were dispatched to a disturbance at a residence on Parkwood Drive at approximately 11:30 p.m. NT, where King allegedly entered the home unlawfully and discharged a firearm.

A male victim was discovered with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound and was subsequently transported to the hospital. Fortunately, the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening as confirmed by the police. Following the incident, King was apprehended on Tuesday and is now facing various charges related to assault and firearms offenses.
