Cardi B has issued a warning to her fans in Hamilton, Canada, urging them to secure tickets for her upcoming show on March 31. The rapper, currently on her Little Miss Drama Tour, expressed concern that the Hamilton date is not selling as well as her other tour stops.
In an Instagram story post that has since expired but circulated on social media, Cardi B playfully threatened her Canadian fans, stating that if they break her streak of sold-out shows, she would take action, although she humorously admitted she didn’t know what that action would be. She emphasized that most tour dates are nearly sold out, with only around 80% of tickets sold for the Hamilton show at TD Coliseum.
While specific figures are unavailable, Ticketmaster seat maps indicate that there are still numerous tickets available for the Hamilton show, in contrast to limited availability for a Toronto concert scheduled the day before. Other upcoming tour stops in cities like Kansas City, Chicago, and Newark also have a few remaining seats.
Ticketmaster lists direct sale tickets for the Hamilton show starting at $118, while prices in Toronto start at $314. Despite the warning from Cardi B, Hamilton Mayor Andrea Horwath highlighted the city’s strong music culture and history of enthusiastic concert attendance.
Leon Robinson, a local artist and community organizer, suggested that rising living costs may impact fans’ willingness to purchase concert tickets. While Cardi B’s callout may boost sales, Robinson emphasized that Hamiltonians do appreciate music genres like rap and hip-hop.
Despite the current ticket sales situation, Cardi B’s tour continues with upcoming stops in Chicago and New York City before heading to Toronto and Hamilton at the end of the month.
