Sutton, a Detroit resident involved in the local auto industry, sees his unconventional minivan as a symbol of collaboration between neighboring nations. A mechanical engineer and member of the Detroit Freakbike Experience, Sutton enjoys building innovative projects. Apart from his car creation, he is known for his involvement in crafting unconventional bicycles and engaging in various hands-on activities like sewing, woodworking, and metalworking.

Over the course of three days at a community workshop in Ferndale, Sutton meticulously assembled the dual-front minivan, with assistance from fellow builders like Bob Katovich. The intricate process involved splitting the vehicles in half and seamlessly combining the front sections to achieve a cohesive design.
