“Canadian Duo Shines at Freestyle Skiing World Cup”

A Canadian duo achieved success at the women’s freestyle skiing slopestyle World Cup competition in Aspen, Colorado. Megan Oldham from Parry Sound, Ontario, and Elena Gaskell from Vernon, British Columbia, secured the silver and bronze medals, respectively, while Kirsty Muir from Great Britain claimed the gold.

Oldham clinched the silver medal with a score of 73.02 in her second run, while Gaskell’s final run earned her the third-place finish with a score of 72.90. In the men’s category, American Mac Forehand took the gold with a score of 77.38, followed by Henry Sildaru from Estonia with silver (75.90) and Norway’s Ulrik Samnoey with bronze (74.64).

The highest-placed Canadian male competitor was Max Moffatt, finishing in sixth position with a score of 72.71 in his second run.
