During a forensic interview in March 2026, a 14-year-old girl claimed that Duggar had engaged in inappropriate conduct with her during a family trip to Panama City Beach when she was 9 years old.
Duggar was apprehended in Tontitown, Arkansas, where the show “19 Kids and Counting” was filmed. According to a statement from the Bay County Sheriff’s Office, the victim’s father confronted Duggar about the incidents on March 17, 2026, and Duggar confessed to his actions to both the victim’s father and Tontitown Detectives.
A separate release from the Tontitown Police Department mentioned that a warrant for Duggar’s arrest was issued, and he is awaiting extradition to Bay County. There has been no public statement regarding the allegations from Duggar or his family.
